Your fleet, your data, from anywhere
The cloud side of ScoreRelay is optional and additive. Devices connect out over an encrypted channel, the customer portal manages them remotely, and the Live Data Gateway turns the feed into things your fans, staff, and apps can actually use.
An encrypted connection that asks nothing of your network
Devices connect outbound to the ScoreRelay broker over TLS-encrypted MQTT. No port forwarding, no public IP on the venue network, no firewall exceptions.
- Outbound-only connectivity keeps the venue's network closed
- Publishes when game state changes rather than streaming constantly, so bandwidth stays tiny even across a full season
- Retained messages mean anyone joining mid-game sees current values immediately
- Online and offline presence for each device, so you know which units are live before first pitch
The customer portal: every device in one place
Log in from anywhere and see each unit as if you were standing next to it: live scoreboard state, configuration, and connection health.
- Live scoreboard view per device, straight from the field data
- Remote configuration: switch manufacturer, model, sport, input type, wireless channel, and endpoint toggles
- Remote actions: read status and raw data, scan Wi-Fi, reboot, and check or apply firmware updates
- Connection health and reset reasons for fast troubleshooting before someone drives to the venue
Teams and roles that match how crews work
An organization owns its fleet and invites the people who run it. Roles are scoped so volunteers see what they need and admins hold the keys.
- Owner: billing, organization settings, user management, everything below
- Admin: all devices, token and API key management, user management
- Operator: view status and edit device configuration
- Viewer: read-only status and live data
- Device claiming ties each physical unit to exactly one organization at a time
Data access for websites, apps, and broadcasts
The Live Data Gateway serves live game state to the outside world without ever exposing a device or a broker credential.
- Embeddable scoreboard widget: drop one script tag into a website and show live scores, public behind a share token you can revoke any time
- REST snapshot endpoint for polling clients and server-to-server integrations
- Live streams (SSE and WebSocket) for real-time apps and broadcast graphics
- Private API keys scoped to your devices for backend integrations
- Read-only by design: the gateway's broker credential can subscribe but never publish, and revoking a token closes its connections immediately
Cloud subscription is optional. Venues that stay local pay once for hardware and never for the cloud, and a wireless bridge pair needs only one subscription since the transmitter is offline by design.
